Vacancies - Midday Supervisor

Contract type:  1 day a week permanent, plus additional hours on relief

Position : (1 day + additional shifts where needed)

1.5 hours per week (12 - 1:30pm on a Thursday )

The Governors wish to appoint a caring individual to join our team to supervise children during lunchtimes on Thursdays, both in the dining hall and the play areas. We are a happy, caring school with friendly, hardworking children and staff.  Working hours are between 12pm and 1:30pm on a Thursday and relief on other days where required where possible.  

The successful candidate will promote positive behaviour and good behaviour choices. They will encourage active lunchtimes, good manners and help the children to enjoy a positive lunchtime experience and feel secure in their lunchtime environment.

We offer a popular and successful school, which is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. We will have 323 children on roll and a high number enjoy school lunches.

Due to this post having access to children and/or vulnerable adults, candidates will be required to undertake a Disclosure and Barring Service check. Etwall Primary School – Main Scale KS1/KS2 Teacher

Permanent Position Available

We are looking to appoint a dedicated and inspiring Main Scale Teacher in KS1 or KS2 to join our friendly team. Whether you are just starting your career or bring valuable experience as you move towards the Upper Pay Scale, we welcome applicants who recognise the demands of teaching and who are ready to work with determination and resilience to meet them.

You will deliver an engaging, well‑planned curriculum, create a positive and supportive classroom environment, build strong relationships with pupils and families, and use assessment effectively to ensure every child achieves their potential. From ECT Year 2 onwards, subject leadership is also an important aspect of the role.

Teaching Assistant - Grade 7 - Term-Time Only

Contract type:

Fixed term to July 2026 with a view to becoming permanent as additional funding is expected within the summer term.

Contract term:  26hrs over 4 days a week

Etwall Primary School is looking for a caring, enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team. We welcome applications from candidates qualified to at least NVQ Level 3, who have a genuine passion for helping children thrive across the whole primary age range.

Our school is a happy, welcoming place with wonderful children who love to learn and a staff team who support one another every step of the way. We set high expectations for ourselves and our pupils, and we work together to ensure every child feels valued, confident and ready to succeed.

The role is varied and rewarding, and is likely to include:

  • 1:1 support for individual pupils
  • Small‑group intervention work
  • Whole‑class support alongside the class teacher
  • Lunchtime SEND duties
  • Supporting ‘soft starts’ for a small number of pupils

This post is 26 hours per week, worked over four days. Working days are likely to be Tuesday to Friday, with final confirmation given on or shortly after appointment.
