🌍 Developing children’s cultural capital is an important part of our ethos at Etwall Primary School. In RE, we provide a wide range of meaningful experiences, including:
- Trips to places of worship such as the mosque and local church
- Celebrating Diwali through activities like food tasting
- Participating in the Nativity
- Taking part in the Easter musical
- Learning about different cultures and religions during assemblies
- Celebrating Interfaith Week
- Welcoming visitors from different faiths and communities
ℹ️ Children may be withdrawn from RE lessons or collective worship at parents’/carers’ request. However, we are unable to provide alternative lessons or worship. Please note that withdrawal from RE may mean pupils do not take part in some religious-related activities, such as Christmas celebrations or Mothering Sunday card-making.
